Do you, or someone you know, need food?

Everyone needs a helping hand sometimes.

There are people and organizations in the Charlottesville area and surrounding counties that can help you find something to eat today, and food for your cupboard tomorrow. The food is free to anyone who needs it.

About the Campaign

CvilleAreaFeeds.org is designed to help individuals and families find food pantries, prepared meals, and other free grocery programs in the city of Charlottesville, and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Greene, Louisa, Fluvanna, and Nelson.

This initiative stems from the Blue Ridge Hunger Action Coalition, a group of food providers and advocates in Charlottesville and surrounding counties, in partnership with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. The Blue Ridge Hunger Action Coalition is a collective of local organizations, individuals and farmers working together to share information, resources, and management best practices to strengthen the emergency food network.

Many of our neighbors in the Charlottesville and surrounding areas do not have consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life, but there is enough nutritious food for everyone in our community.

Everyone should have enough to eat.
